About Me

I came to know Gran Turismo when I first read about it back in 1997. And although it wasn’t due out until 1998 when I first read that you could change car settings, do license tests and have a career mode while tuning your car, I was blown away. Without even bothering to rent the game, I traded in my Nintendo 64 and I bought it. It was everything I hoped for in a racing game and more.

I’ve been hooked ever since, it wasn’t until Gran Turismo 3 came out that I began my Online Racing (OLR) career. I started to wonder how good am I? I can finish the game in my sleep, so I did a google search and found GTTimes. It was there that I started to realize I wan’t as good as I thought. With time, I developed a better driving line and with practice I got my lap times down and have some top 10 and attended some GT tournaments as well. I also ran for in the Board Challenges 5,6 and 7 (for teams GTTimes and Keep On Rollin’ and placed 7th, 8th and 3rd) and am awaiting number 8 soon, where I can use my G25 wheel and Playseat cockpit. GT5 can’t come out soon enough!

I also collect comic books in my spare time. I have mainly collected Venom comics as you can see here. I’ve only got a few remaining, so my attention has turned to key issues. Mainly as an investment to help with retirement (along with my 401K of course) or pass down as family heirlooms. Or, perhaps a nice Yellow ’76 Stingray ‘Vette.

When I’m not at home doing whatever I want, I work in the IT field in Portland for a software development company. That’s all for now.
